Chillin at the pool

Robb has it all figured out how to keep Alani entertained while the 2 big sisters are in swimming lessons. It requires mini doughnuts.

Our Kids' Sayings

--3.5 year old Alani looked out the car window at a large electric wire post and said "Mom, is that the Eiffel Tower?"
--Mana really wants to wear makeup and we don't let her yet. Today she told me "you know what I would do if I had my own kids? I would buy each of them their own makeup, because I would share with my kids. I would be nice to my kids."
-- 4.5 year old Mana has been talking about ticks lately. She asked me how you kill them and I told her to squish them between your fingernails. Then she said, while looking at her nails, "I need to sharpen mine."
--When anyone mentions potty training to Alani, she says "I don't want the potty train to come!" and covers her ears (she thinks trains are too loud!)
--Mana asked me what type of monkey was on the t.v. I told her it was a chimpanzee. Then she asked "do all Japanzees live in Japan?"
--Mana got berry/mint dental floss from the dentist. When she tried it last night she said "I love this floss. It tastes like Sunflower petals."
--When we asked Mana to help clean up the living room, she responded "My body doesn't feel like cleaning right now."
--Mana told me "my stomach is tired." She also said "I don't feel relaxed when Haley tells me pilau"
--When Kawai was visiting me at work in "cubicleland" she asked to go see my "stall".
--Mana asked me for a "peanut butter jelly and sandwitch" yesterday.
--Mana, in her sweet high-pitched 3 year old voice which she uses for babies, told Alani "Hi Honey, you tiptoe marshmallow"
--Mana told Alani, "Alani I wish you were a Hello Kitty."
--Kawai asked Mana, "Mana what's your favorite place?" Mana: "A fighting place." Kawai: "No Mana, what's your favorite place to go?" Mana: "At the jungle"
--Mana's version of Jingle Bells starts like this: "Flashing through the snow...."
--Kawai and Mana were talking through the phones at the park. Mana asked Kawai, "do you like fairies?". Kawai said "yes." Then Mana said "Let's be best friends at the fairies."
--Kawai and Mana decided to play dogs. Kawai said she was a hound dog. Then Mana said that she's a peacock dog.
--Mana, while eating soybeans, asked Daddy, "Daddy, can I please have some more slime beans?"
--During the thunder/lightning storm this week, I told Mana that the sky was shouting. She ran to the window and said "I want to see him" (referring to The Guy). Then she asked "is he a super bad guy?"
--Mana: "I want to ride a helicoaster" (referring to a rollercoaster we think)
--Kawai at Costco: "I want to go to another store". Me: "which store?" Kawai: "Dollar Tree". Me: "What store do you want to go to?" Mana: "Money Tree"
--Mana: "Daddy it's gonna be Motherstines Day soon"
