Last year I cut Kawai's hair in the asian layers style that WenWen Han had in the movie Karate Kid 2. Well, finally it was Mana's turn. We were a little nervous to cut off her blond wavy hair that we love so much, but she was ready for a change on New Year's Day. 2012 is the year to "go all out" and make transformations. So Mana was the guinea pig on big changes. She's happy with it, so that's what matters.

| This was Kawai's version of the same haircut done November 2010 when she was in the 3rd grade. It's amazing how fast her hair grew in a year, I pretty much forgot she even had this hairstyle, since at some point during the year we cut off the long portions. |
