Chugga-chugga-choo-choo

A visit to Berkeley over Memorial Day weekend included a fun visit to the wonderful Tilden Steam Trains.  Luckily the Parker clan could join us for this very popular attraction (parking..ugh)....

Our lucky charm is 2 months old

Koa, the little Koala Bear (Koko)

Koa can hold his head up pretty well now, and is interested in what is going on around him.  He got to go on his first  run with mommy in the jogging stroller today, slept the whole way.  Today was the first day that he was awake when I dropped the kids off at Pacheco.  It's fun having him more engaged in what is going on.  Anu and the girls are so good with him.  The best way to give him a bath is to put him in Mana's lap in the bath.  He never even makes a peep, he just kicks his legs and looks really mellow.

Koa's Baby Blessing

Robb blessed Koa at church on May 6, 2012.  We were so happy that so many family members could come visit. And that we could actually house them all!  The Teos from Utah, the Kois, the Tulafales, and the Palus all from Sacramento drove out. We had a good time at the beach, hanging out, using the pool, and having a party with ono Hawaiian food.  The kids were so happy to have so many cousins staying at their house.

Kekoa is growing - 6 week stats

Koa didn't have a 1 month check-up, he had a 6 week checkup. Here are his stats:

Weight: 13 lbs, 1 oz (96%)
Height: 22 3/4 in (74%)
Head size: 39 3/4 cm (70%)

So he has gained 5 lbs in 5 weeks, one pound a week.  Keep it up Koa, and I won't be able to carry you much longer!
