Potty training by herself
Well when Alani was born, Mana had just turned 2 and we weren't even thinking about pushing potty-training her, with a new sister and all. And since our only bathroom is upstairs, we weren't even too excited about thinking about how to potty train her. Well I'm excited to report that since the week she turned 3 (Feb 08), she decided she was ready for panties. And she was serious. Wow, how easy was that!!!!! Not even diapers at night time. I had heard about kids who decide to potty train by themselves, and now I know it can happen!

surgery is done!
Just wanted to share that my surgery today went really well. I should be running tomorrow! Haha. But he said I could.....It was not a hernia, it was a lipoma, which is good news, less needs to heal. Mahalo to everyone for their positive thoughts toward me!!!

hair
Well Robb has been growing the top of his hair out for about 9 months now. I love it, he can make it look short, or long depending on what he wants. And for driving at UPS, as long as it's above the collar, it's ok. As for me, it was in December I think that I finally went pretty short. In case you wanted to see, here it is. I took this myself.
Oh the things they say
Kawai was telling us about a guinea pig in her classroom named Patch. After a little while I heard Mana saying, "I am the big sister to Patch Pig." And on and on she went about Patch Pig. So hilarious, that girl. Then at Avila Barn yesterday, Mana was singing a song to herself, as usual she makes up her own lyrics. Kawai and I heard her singing about the applecorn. Where does she come up with these things? She's our little fairy-child.
